Connect your room
Link Whalewatch to your Chaturbate room using your Events API key.
Open Chaturbate Settings
Log in to Chaturbate. Click your username in the top-right corner, then select Settings.
Navigate to the API tab
Inside Settings, click the API tab (or look for “Third-Party Apps”). You’ll find your Events API key listed there.
Copy your Events API key
Copy the long string labeled Events API Key. This is the only credential Whalewatch needs — it grants read-only access to room events. We never see your login or password.
Paste it in your Whalewatch dashboard
Head to your activation page or the dashboard, and paste the key when prompted. Whalewatch will begin listening to your room’s events immediately.
Privacy
Whalewatch is read-only. Your Events API key lets us receive the same event stream your room already broadcasts — tips, chat, user joins. We never store your login credentials, access your camera or microphone, or read your DMs.
